Radiata pine is the dominant softwood of New Zealand.

Radiata pine is the preferred material choice. In New Zealand, Radiata pine is a renewable resource, harvested from plantation forest. Radiata pine is widely used for building construction and house framing. When treated it is a durable material for outdoor application e.g. fences, decking, pergolas, landscaping, retaining walls, transmission poles and horticultural uses.

Application & Uses In Australia:

Radiata pine has a wide range of application and uses, from packaging lumber, to manufacturing of high quality furniture, glue laminated timber, joinery and all sorts of wooden articles.
Kiln dried Clears, Cuttings grades are imported into Australia from New Zealand for manufacturing of furniture components, interior joinery, millwork and componentry works.
